I’m Susiane Costa Sousa, CEO of New Concept Hair Removal. Originally from Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil, I lived there until I graduated with a law degree at 22 years old.
In 2013, I moved to Massachusetts, USA, to further my studies and improve my English.
Not intending to practice law as a profession and noticing a certain gap in the market, I decided to work in hair removal. I studied and graduated in aesthetics and obtained my license from the state of Massachusetts. In 2019, I opened my first hair removal studio, specializing in comfortable waxing. In 2021, I initiated a new project, New Concept Hair Removal, which, in addition to providing high-quality hair removal services for clients, also offers training for professionals who wish to achieve excellence in their services, using our exclusive New Concept Hard Wax.
Today, my goal is to help all women who desire to feel free of hair and have healthy skin, boosting their self-esteem in a place that is a reference for quality service and comfort, with highly qualified professionals trained in the “New Concept” standard, ensuring a differentiated service to provide an exceptional experience during hair removal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Photodepilation or IPL in the United States is a treatment similar to laser hair removal. It is a treatment for permanent hair reduction and offers many other benefits for the skin. It treats folliculitis and ingrown hairs, helps to significantly lighten spots in the treated area, boosts collagen production, among other benefits.
We recommend 8 to 12 sessions, depending on your body. We use an excellent machine that provides very good results even from the first sessions. Sessions are held every 4 weeks (once a month).
IPL treatment is not recommended during pregnancy due to hormonal changes. During pregnancy, hormones become very irregular, and the treatment would not be as effective. However, we can use warm, hypoallergenic wax, and with our technique, you will not feel discomfort.
You will notice a difference after the first session, but the final result will be achieved by the end of the treatment, which can take between 8 and 12 sessions.
